The DuPage Libertarians (DPL) are the local affiliate of the Libertarian Party of Illinois and exist for the following reasons:
- To promote the understanding of libertarian philosophy.
- To support candidates for public office who subscribe to a libertarian political philosophy.
- To defend the principles of individual liberty within DuPage County.

Township Divisions
Objectives of Township Divisions:
- Act as legislative watch over the regulating bodies within their township
- Report township news and activities to the DPL business meeting once a month
- Host designated DPL social meetings
- Recruit members, engage in activism and help push politics in a Libertarian direction
Township chairmen can recruit and appoint staff to aid them in their duties, and manage their divisions as they see fit so long as it’s done without violating any of the DPL’s by-laws.
