Details: 2012 is a BIG year for the DuPage Libertarians! Access to the ballot this year will be much easier than in the past, and we’re gearing up to make a big impact! Join the DuPage Libertarians as we elect our new leadership for the coming year.

Another year has come and gone, and we felt that it was time to get together and close out the year with some good times with good friends. If you’re one of the many good libertarians in DuPage County that we haven’t seen in a while, I hope you’ll come out and spend a fun-filled evening with us.

Join the DuPage Libertarians for our holiday dinner at John & Tony’s and get to know what we’ve been up to this year, and what we have in mind for the next. The state of Illinois has given us a bit of a Christmas gift in that our signature requirements to get on the ballot are MUCH lower this year, and as a result, we are very excited about the campaign opportunities we will have in 2012!

Details: The DuPage Libertarians have been given a gift of sorts by the State of Illinois. Signature requirements for Congressional candidates are MUCH lower this time around (some are roughly one-third the previous requirements) and therefore we have a far easier route to getting our candidates on the ballot. Come out and learn how to get involved!

Libertarians can have a big impact when we get involved in local politics.  The only problem is that it can sometimes be difficult to know just how to get involved.  For those wanting to increase their level of activism, allow me to recommend the Illinois Policy Institute‘s free Adopt-A-District training on November 17th in Darien.

On the agenda:

A big congratulations to Matt Skopek, Chair of the DuPage Libertarians, as he received the Libertarian Party of Illinois’ “Outstanding Young Libertarian Award” this weekend!  We’re lucky to have Matt here in DuPage County.  Be sure to congratulate him next time you see him at one of our meetings!
