DuPage Libertarians Monthly Meeting

With our statewide ticket officially being on the ballot, there will be PLENTY to discuss at our August meeting, and plenty of ways for you to get involved as well.

Over the next several weeks, our statewide candidates will be attending endorsement hearings from the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times, as well as several debates being hosted including one by NBC with the governor candidates. You’ll be able to get the most updated information on these events, as well as how to get involved and help out the campaigns. Every volunteer matters.

We also have YARD SIGNS! You can get them for Kash, Claire, Mike, Steve, Bubba, and even a limited edition run for Sanj. Along with those yard signs will come some campaign literature that volunteers can walk neighborhoods and hang on doors if they choose to do so.

The DuPage Libertarians will also be planning a weekend camping trip to DuQuoin, IL for the DuQuoin State Fair. The best campaign meetings take place around firepits with our southern IL libertarian friends.

Upcoming events that we will be discussing include the “Good Old Days” Parade in Winfield, of which this will be our third year participating in.

You can learn all these details and more by joining us at our meeting, and asking questions. Chances are you will also run into at least a statewide candidate or two in attendance, so why not come out and bring a friend?

As always, our meetings are free, all ages, and open to the public. Social hour starts at 6pm, meeting begins at 7pm.

Location: American Tap, 701 W Lake St, Addison, Illinois 60101

Winfield’s “Good Old Days” Parade

The DuPage Libertarians will be marching in the Winfield “Good Old Days” Parade again this year! We could use as many volunteers as possible to help us carry banners and pass out candy – feel free to meet us before the parade in the staging area on Sunnyside Avenue, between Forest and East streets. The parade starts at 1pm, we will be setting up at noon.

We will be joined by candidates Claire Ball for IL Comptroller, Steve Dutner for IL Secretary of State, Sanj Mohip for IL Lt. Governor and Kash Jackson for IL Governor .

Afterwards, we can all grab a bite to eat at the festival or one of the nearby downtown Winfield restaurants!
