DuPage Libertarians Monthly Meeting

The big news for the evening will be the announcement of the elected District Representatives from the previous meeting, which served as our county convention.

We will also begin planning the next chunk of events on the calendar, including a PumpkinFest parade with DeKalb in Sycamore, some tree decorating here in DuPage, and a couple holiday parades right after Thanksgiving that we need to prepare for.

Oh, and we will settle on a location for our 2018 holiday party. If you have any suggestions, don’t be afraid to submit ideas to us here on Facebook or at the website.

As always, the meetings are free, all ages, and open to the public. Meeting officially starts at 7pm, social hour begins at 6pm. Hope to see you there…

Time: Thursday, October 19th at 7 PM – 8:30 PM
Location: American Tap, 701 W Lake St, Addison, Illinois 60101

Westmont Frosty and Friends Holiday Parade

The DuPage Libertarians will march in the festive and brightly lit Frosty and Friends Night Parade in Westmont again this year. Frosty the Snowman leads a parade of local groups, organizations and businesses through downtown Westmont. We will be joined by Claire Ball for IL Comptroller and Steve Dutner for IL Secretary of State.

Meet up with us at 4:30pm in the Westmont Library parking lot on Cass Ave!! Parade kicks off at 6pm sharp.

Westmont’s annual Holly Days Winter Festival is a cooperative effort between the Village of Westmont, Westmont Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau, Special Events Corporation, Westmont Historical Society and the Westmont Park District.

The event includes a month of great activities and events, including a craft bazaar, 5K run/walk, a museum open house, visits with Santa in his workshop, The Polar Express trip, ice skating among the lights at Veterans Memorial Park and much more!

We get to dress up in colorful lights, and relax as there aren’t any major campaigns to be running at this time. Come out and join us, march with us and get in on the fun.

Time: 5pm – 7pm
Location: Westmont Library parking lot on Cass Ave
