DuPage Libertarians Monthly Meeting

The DuPage Libertarians continue on our path to get stuff done this year, to increase membership, increase activity, and make ourselves 5% compliant with Illinois law. That continues at this meeting.

With the passing of our new bylaws, and our biggest summer parades and festivals out of the way, this meeting will focus on getting those who have not yet registered to be precinct committeemen signed up. It is relatively easy to do, and one of our members will have her laptop and notary stamp on hand to help people find out their information and get their paperwork in order.

It is the biggest and best step we can have ready for when we reach Established Party status in the state of Illinois.

There will be other issues on the agenda, such as choosing a 5k charity to participate in, and finally ordering shirts for all members who want one.

As always, the meetings are free, all ages, and open to the public. Meeting officially starts at 7pm, social hour begins at 6pm. Hope to see you there…

Time: Thursday, July 20th at 7 PM – 8:30 PM
Location: American Tap, 701 W Lake St, Addison, Illinois 60101

Winfield’s “Good Old Days” Parade

Join the DuPage Libertarians and candidates Claire Ball for IL Comptroller and Steve Dutner for IL Secretary of State as we march in the Winfield “Good Old Days” Parade again this year.

It’s a fairly short parade, and we all grab lunch together afterwards at John’s Restaurant & Tavern in the downtown area.

We could use as many volunteers as possible to help us carry banners and to help give an overall large presence for libertarians in Illinois. Feel free to meet us before the parade in the staging area on Sunnyside Avenue, between Forest and East streets. Thanks in advance for all your support!

Time: Sunday, September 10th, 2017 at noon – 2 PM
