The definition of a Libertarian is a person who advocates Liberty (Liberty being the root word of Libertarian). Liberty, according to The Webster Contemporary Dictionary is defined as ”The state of being free in action or thought from the domination of others or from restricting circumstances; freedom.”
The Libertarian Party is the 3rd largest political party in the United States, founded on the ideals of liberty, hence the name Libertarian. The principles of the Libertarian Party are:
- Smaller Government
- Lower Taxes
- More Freedom
